We are thrilled to announce the first official release of CADET-RDM, an open-source research data management (RDM) tool designed to streamline simulation workflows and ensure full reproducibility through comprehensive version tracking.
Originally developed for chromatography modeling and tightly integrated with CADET-Core and CADET-Process, CADET-RDM is fully tool-agnostic. The modular architecture of CADET-RDM makes it suitable for a wide range of scientific modeling tasks across disciplines.
With CADET-RDM, you can:
- Organize simulation studies in versioned Git repositories
- Track inputs, metadata, results, and configuration files
- Share and reproduce results via GitHub/GitLab URLs
Key Features:
- Command-line interface (CLI) for direct control
- Python API for seamless integration into Python tools and scripts
- Jupyter support for automatic tracking of cell outputs
Whether you are modeling chromatography or any other technical process, CADET-RDM provides a robust and reproducible foundation for modern computational research.
We welcome feedback, issues, and contributions as we work toward a more FAIR, collaborative, and structured future in computational modeling.
