I want to use a custom binding model, however the process of registering a new binding model is very tedious. How do I find a binding model that has been created by another user that might match mine.
The binding model I use is shown below:
C_s represents the salt concentration in the mobile phase, q_{max,0}, k_{d,0} represent the maximum adsorption amount and adsorption rate when the salt concentration is 0.
Hi,
I recommend going through the documentation: Binding models — CADET
If you go through the list, you will also find the equations of the models that come with CADET. Maybe you’re lucky and you can already use one of them by tweaking the parameters.
Spoiler:
Have a look at the Mobile Phase Modulator.
Cheers,
Johannes

Thank you for your help. Your advice is very useful to me.
Hello,
I’ve also found CADET’s colloidal isotherm quite useful in modeling some non-langmuir isotherms, parametrized by [H+] or ionic strength.
We’ve used it for protein A chromatography and IEX.
Best,
Soumi
