Learning materials for studying CADET

Thank you for welcoming me to the CADET community!
I work at a biopharmaceutical company and am about to start working on chromatography using CADET. I have no prior knowledge in this field, so I would be very grateful if you could recommend any beginner-friendly literature or books etc… to help me better understand CADET.

Hi Kei and welcome to the forum.

We would recommend reading the CADET-Process documentation. Also, we have some Workshop materials that might be worth checking out.

Let us know if you have specific questions.

Hello Kei,

A warm welcome from me as well!

Additionally to what @j.schmoelder suggested, if you are interested in the general concepts behind Chromatography, the book

Schmidt‑Traub, H.; Schulte, M.; Seidel‑Morgenstern, A. (Eds.) Preparative Chromatography, 3rd ed.; John Wiley & Sons: Weinheim, 2020. ISBN 978‑3‑527‑81633‑0

might be helpful to you!

Best,
Hannah

Thank you very much for your reply. The CADET-Process documentation and workshop materials are very well explained, and I think they’ll really help my understanding. It seems a bit challenging at first… but I’ll give it a try!

Thank you for recommending the book! I read a bit of Chapter 1 and the table of contents, and it seems like a great resource that could help resolve some of the questions I’ve had. Since I’d like to apply CADET to various situations in the future, I feel it’s really important to understand the fundamental principles. I really appreciate your recommendation!

Happy you like it!

By the way, we also have an annual workshop. Maybe that’s also interesting to you?
